Description
This training course will give you a clear understanding of DYS disorders (dyslexia, dysorthographia, dyscalculia, dysphasia, dyspraxia) and their concrete effects on learning, confidence and classroom life. You’ll learn how to spot early signs, distinguish profiles and their needs, and put in place simple, effective adaptations. Through inclusive teaching strategies, concrete tools and real-life situations, you’ll learn how to better support your pupils in class and at home, while maintaining a calm, rewarding and motivating climate.
Training objectives
-
Understanding DYS disorders: definitions, typology, warning signs and possible comorbidities.
-
Identify the impact on reading/writing, language, mathematical reasoning, fine motor skills and organization.
-
Implement effective adaptations for each disorder (extra time, adapted supports, adult dictation, alternatives to handwriting, manipulations, etc.).
-
Deploy inclusive learning methods: multisensory approach, split tasks, step-by-step guidance, peer tutoring.
-
Managing emotions and motivation: specific feedback, achievable goals, the right to make mistakes, rewarding progress.
-
School-family-professional cooperation (teacher, AESH, speech therapist, ergo, psychologist, doctor) around a shared action plan.
-
Use digital assistance tools (audio playback, correctors, mind maps, digital organization) and play materials.
-
Take away practical sheets, checklists and templates that can be directly applied in the classroom and at home.
You’ll leave with concrete, ready-to-use tools (student fact sheets, observation grids, adaptation checklists, school-family follow-up templates) to help each DYS student progress, gain autonomy and restore confidence on a daily basis.
