Training objectives

• Understand the different learning disabilities and their impact on reading, writing, arithmetic, organization and memorization.

• Identify warning signs in the classroom and distinguish between occasional difficulties and long-term problems.

• Organize the classroom to reduce distractions, anticipate transitions and provide a reassuring framework.

• Adapt materials and instructions: legible font, airy layout, sequenced instructions, pictograms, diagrams and colors.

• Implement strategies targeted by disorder: audio reading, digital tools, visual aids, guided exercises, alternating tasks/pauses, etc.

• Prepare lessons, homework and assessments in a way that recognizes partial successes and maintains motivation.

• Promote inclusion and a positive classroom climate: cooperation between students, valuing effort, good behavior management.

• Collaborate effectively with families and healthcare professionals to ensure educational coherence.

• Know the official procedures (PAP, PPS, PPRE, exam accommodations) and how to mobilize schooling follow-up teams.
