The training program lasted 14 weeks and its effects were measured immediately at the end of the last session and 5 months later. The study results show a positive effect of the training on measures of episodic memory and working memory measures. Moreover, the positive effect is maintained during the follow-up 5 months later. G\u00fcnter et al. The participants benefited from cognitive training on episodic memory, inductive reasoning, or visual attention for 5 to 6 weeks. The type of training received was determined randomly. The study results indicate that each of the three types of training is associated with an improvement in performance on tests measuring the trained function, but not on tests measuring untrained functions (Ball et al, 2002). The authors report that the improvement in performance corresponds to a reduction of 7 to 14 years of the effects of aging and much better autonomy in daily living tasks. Long-term follow-up indicates that this type of cognitive intervention can reduce cognitive decline associated with aging and delay functional decline.<\/span><\/p>\n elderly subjects suffering from chronic insomnia showed that regular brain training for two months could significantly improve the quality of sleep of these individuals.<\/span><\/p>\n Indeed, these works have shown, in the group that followed the brain training program, a significant improvement in cognitive functions<\/a>, compared to the control group, notably in terms of concentration and memory.<\/span><\/p>\n The comparison of all sleep parameters and cognitive functions<\/a> between the control group and the group of participants also confirmed that regular brain training was indeed at the origin of an improvement in sleep quality, which translated into both an increase in the total sleep time and a reduction of nocturnal awakenings.<\/span><\/p>\n According to this study, brain
