Il programma di allenamento durava 14 settimane e i suoi effetti erano valutati immediatamente al termine della sessione finale e 5 mesi dopo. I risultati dello studio indicano un effetto positivo dell’allenamento su misure di memoria episodica e memoria di lavoro. Inoltre, l’effetto positivo si mantiene nel follow-up 5 mesi dopo. G\u00fcnter et al. I partecipanti beneficiavano di un allenamento cognitivo per 5 a 6 settimane incentrato su memoria episodica, ragionamento induttivo o attenzione visiva. Il tipo di allenamento ricevuto era determinato casualmente. I risultati dello studio indicano che ognuno dei tre tipi di allenamento \u00e8 associato a un miglioramento delle prestazioni nei test che misurano la funzione allenata, ma non nei test che misurano le funzioni non allenate (Ball et al, 2002). Gli autori riportano che il miglioramento delle prestazioni corrisponde a una riduzione di 7 a 14 anni degli effetti dell’invecchiamento e una molto migliore autonomia nelle attivit\u00e0 della vita quotidiana. Il follow-up a lungo termine indica quindi che questo tipo di intervento cognitivo pu\u00f2 ridurre il declino cognitivo associato all’invecchiamento e ritardare il declino funzionale.<\/span><\/p>\n persone.<\/span><\/p>\n In effetti questi lavori hanno dimostrato, nel gruppo che ha seguito il programma di allenamento cerebrale, un miglioramento sensibile delle funzioni cognitive<\/a>, rispetto al gruppo di controllo, in particolare a livello di concentrazione e memoria.<\/span><\/p>\n Il confronto di tutti i parametri del sonno e delle funzioni cognitive<\/a> tra il gruppo di controllo e il gruppo di partecipanti, ha inoltre confermato che l’allenamento cerebrale regolare era effettivamente all’origine di un miglioramento della qualit\u00e0 del sonno tradotto sia da un aumento della durata totale del sonno che da una riduzione dei risvegli notturni.<\/span><\/p>\n Secondo questo studio, l’allenamento cerebrale potrebbe migliorare il sonno riducendo gli effetti neurobiologici
