Mijn Dico is een app voor tablets en smartphones waarmee je eenvoudig kunt communiceren met non-verbale mensen of mensen met communicatieproblemen. Met Mijn Dico kun je communiceren door afbeeldingen van alledaagse voorwerpen te gebruiken om hun behoeften of wensen te begrijpen: wat ze willen doen, wat ze willen eten, dragen, enzovoort. <\/span><\/p>\n

De app Mijn Dico is ontwikkeld in samenwerking met twee logopedisten, Sophie FERRIEUX en C\u00e9line ARBIZU. <\/strong>Zij zijn logopedisten gespecialiseerd in neurologie bij volwassenen en behoren tot de gezondheidsgroep van Piti\u00e9 Salp\u00eatri\u00e8re Charles Foix.<\/span><\/p>\n

Een andere functie van Mijn Dico is het venster “Emoties”. De gebruiker kan aangeven hoe hij zich voelt, van “Erg ongelukkig” tot “Erg gelukkig”. Hierna biedt Mijn Dico verschillende activiteiten aan om te ontspannen of om beter te worden.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dit helpt de gebruiker om zijn emoties gemakkelijker uit te drukken dan door het mondeling te vertellen. <\/span><\/p>\n

Met het venster Routines heb je toegang tot een paneel met bestaande routines zoals “Naar bed gaan” of “De tafel dekken”. Routines zijn erg belangrijk, vooral voor mensen met speciale behoeften<\/a> zoals autisme of het syndroom van Down. <\/span><\/p>\n

Op Mijn Dico’s app kun je ook je eigen routines maken met onze foto’s om te mixen en de routines aan te passen aan het profiel van de gebruiker. Je kunt ook de stappen van je routine uitvoeren en spelen om de juiste volgorde te vinden, zodat hij de volgorde beter begrijpt. <\/span><\/p>\n

De gebruiker kan ook zijn eigen foto’s maken door er foto’s van te nemen en hem te noemen zoals hij wil (hij kan een foto nemen van zijn dekentje en hem bij de naam noemen op de app).<\/p>\n

Je kunt kiezen wat je wilt verbergen of tonen, afhankelijk van de gebruiker, om ontevredenheid te voorkomen. Een kind dat vroeger voetbalde en dat nu niet meer kan, kan bijvoorbeeld gefrustreerd raken als er “Voetbal” in de suggesties staat.<\/p>\n

Je kunt ook verschillende profielen aanmaken (maximaal 3 als individu en onbeperkt voor de professionals) om de app aan te passen aan de gebruikers.<\/p>\n

In Mijn Dico zijn de afbeeldingen en suggesties aangepast aan elke leeftijd. Afhankelijk van de leeftijd van de gebruiker zullen de afbeeldingen en woorden niet hetzelfde zijn.<\/p>\n

Een senior zal een foto hebben van “Breien” terwijl een kind een foto zal hebben van “Met poppen spelen”.<\/p>\n
