Which reaction fits you best?
Why Take a Communication Profile Test?
We do not all express ourselves in the same way. Some tend to take up a lot of space in conversations, others to withdraw, and others still to avoid conflict or express their dissatisfaction indirectly. Understanding your communication profile allows you to better adjust your messages and reactions in daily life.
The 4 Main Communication Styles Explored
Assertive Communication
You express your needs and limits with respect, considering those of others. It is the most balanced style: clear, direct, and kind.
Passive Communication
You tend to remain silent, say "it's not a big deal," or let it go, even when it bothers you. The risk: getting exhausted or accumulating frustration.
Aggressive Communication
You can be very direct, sometimes with words or a tone that strongly unsettles others. The message gets across, but the relationship may suffer.
Passive-Aggressive Communication
The disagreement is not clearly expressed but appears through hints, delays, silences, or little jabs.
What This Test Provides You
This test does not serve to label you definitively but to become aware of your tendencies in certain situations (conflict, requests, refusals, frustration…). Depending on the result, you will be able to:
- Better understand why some exchanges go well… and others do not.
- Identify situations where your style helps you or, conversely, complicates your life.
- Start working on more assertive communication: clear, respectful, balanced.
