About Course

This training provides you with clear guidelines to understand the needs of elderly people and the central role of play (both paper and digital) in cognitive stimulation, social connection, and the appreciation of each individual. You will learn how to present the tablet in a reassuring manner, adapt activities to different profiles (independent, fragile, cognitive impairments), and establish simple and calming rituals. Through practical advice and directly usable tools, you will be able to organize sessions, overcome barriers, encourage participation without infantilizing, and integrate digital solutions such as EDITH and JOE to support memory, attention, and language, both in nursing homes and at home.

Training Objectives

  • Understand the cognitive, social, emotional, and motor needs of elderly individuals.

  • Identify the positive impact of play on daily life and social connections.

  • Establish simple and secure routines and usage rituals.

  • Present the tablet with kindness and adapt the interface to needs.

  • Celebrate successes and encourage without infantilizing.

  • Use play and gentle activities to channel energy and support learning.

  • Develop strategies to improve attention and participation (short instructions, calm environment, varied supports).

  • Promote autonomy through gradual steps and reassuring markers.

  • Discover how EDITH and JOE (DYNSEO) help seniors progress in a playful and stimulating way.

By the end of this training, you will be able to offer varied, stimulating, and tailored sessions that promote well-being, participation, and the maintenance of autonomy for your beneficiaries.

The focus is on establishing a structured yet caring framework, using adapted pedagogical strategies, and the support of the surrounding community (team, caregivers, family). You will leave with concrete solutions that are easy to apply in daily life, to stimulate without tiring, boost confidence, and promote the flourishing of elderly individuals, both in nursing homes and at home.
