Twenty investigation files to put your brain to work
A collection of printable workbooks for adults. Each file is a case to solve: evidence, ten scored challenges out of 100, a final report — and answer pages that explain the reasoning instead of merely giving you the answer.

Exercise workbooks that treat adults like adults
Many activity books for adults borrow the tone and illustrations of school holiday workbooks. The CLINT Files take the opposite approach: an adult tone, understated design, serious topics — and a genuine level of challenge clearly stated for every exercise so everyone can work at their own pace.
A real narrative thread
Every file tells a case. The challenges are not simply placed side by side: they all draw on the same evidence, and the final challenge brings the investigation to a close.
A score and a rank
Ten challenges worth a total of 100 points, a final report page for calculating your score, and a logbook to track your progress from one file to the next.
Use the stopwatch — if you want
Every challenge includes a reference time. Timing remains optional — except in the Performance series, where it becomes part of the measurement.
Inside a CLINT file

- The investigation file — the facts, the evidence and the people involved. Read it before you begin: the first challenge tests what you remember.
- Ten challenges — each with a stated difficulty level, scoring scale, reference time and score box.
- The final report — the summary table, your total score out of 100 and the rank you earn, from Rookie to Legend.
- The answer section — placed at the end of the workbook. The answers explain the reasoning: why this answer is correct, and why the others are not.
- The logbook — the final page, where you can record your scores across the complete collection.
Puzzles designed to be genuinely solvable
All the grids in the collection were checked programmatically before publication: every Sudoku, Futoshiki and Kakuro has one unique solution, reachable through pure deduction. Encoded messages are calculated rather than copied by hand. Logical sequences were checked against a catalogue of rules to rule out sequences that could reasonably be interpreted in two different ways.
It is invisible work — and that is precisely what helps avoid impossible puzzles or debatable “correct answers”.

Four series, twenty files
Every file stands on its own: start with whichever one appeals to you. The series simply indicate the type of skill being exercised.
Investigations
Five cases to solve — deduction, codes, chronology, visual attention and critical thinking.
Pure Logic
Grids, sequences, volumes, probabilities and reasoning traps. Everything can be checked; nothing is left to chance.
Words & Knowledge
Vocabulary, etymology, general knowledge, geography, cinema and music — memory for words and facts.
Performance
Five timed files designed to be repeated: speed, memory span, task switching, calculation and stamina.
A broad range of skills, without exaggerated promises
These workbooks do not make you smarter — no workbook can promise that. They teach methods, reveal your own limits, and encourage you to question what seems obvious. That is already useful, realistic and worthwhile.
All twenty files in one collection
Twenty PDF files, 429 pages, 200 challenges and all answer sections. The logbook included in each file lets you record all twenty scores and follow your progress from series to series.
- All 4 series: Investigations, Pure Logic, Words & Knowledge, Performance
- Immediate download after purchase
- Print at home as many times as you like

What people ask us most often
Is this a printed or digital product?
Digital. You receive an A4 PDF file to print at home or through a printing service. The download link is available immediately after purchase on the confirmation page, in your account and by email.
Do I have to complete the files in order?
No. Every file is independent and self-contained. The numbers do not represent a required progression; they simply organise the collection into four families of skills.
How difficult are the challenges?
The level varies and is always stated. Each challenge shows its level — accessible, challenging or demanding — so you can choose where to begin. The most accessible exercises require no prior knowledge.
Is it suitable for seniors?
Yes, for independent adults who are looking for a genuine level of challenge. For gentler support, with three progressive levels and activities specifically designed for older adults, DYNSEO also offers dedicated senior-friendly resources.
Are the answers included?
Yes. Every file includes an answer section at the end of the workbook. It explains the reasoning instead of simply giving the solution — that explanation is a key part of the learning experience.
Can I repeat a file?
The five Performance files are specifically designed for repetition: they include a tracking grid for three sessions and become especially useful when you compare results. The other fifteen are primarily designed to be completed once — but you can always print the PDF again.
