Every week, discover the vision of one of our internet users.
Today, it's Guillaume's turn to share his vision of the retirement home of the future.
"The retirement home of the future? For me, it would be on Mars. There would be shuttles to go for refreshing short stays, where I would be completely cut off from the world.I would book my stay for Mars via my tablet in just a few clicks, choosing from different options: active retirement, relaxing retirement, revitalizing retirement. Once my stay is booked, on the day, a mini shuttle would come to pick me up at my doorstep. The mini-shuttle would be driven by a robot, who would be very polite, and would drop me off at my place, and I would just have to settle in comfortably. A hostess would ask us to fasten our seatbelts, and we would take off quickly towards the sky.A few hours later, we would have arrived on Mars. An entertainer would come to pick us up in his little golf cart, and we would each head to our private room, which would look like a large white glass capsule. A very soft mattress would be at the center of the capsule, I would settle in comfortably, the capsule would close, and I would be plunged into a deep sleep. The retirement could then begin. This would be followed by two weeks of regeneration, where all the cells in my body would rest and relax. After two incredible weeks of deep restorative sleep, my whole body would feel much better, my health problems would be resolved, and I would leave as fresh as a daisy! That’s my vision of the retirement home of the future, regenerating capsules on Mars!"
