About Course

This training provides you with clear guidelines to understand DYS disorders (dyslexia, dysorthographia, dyscalculia, dysphasia, dyspraxia) and their concrete effects on learning, confidence, and classroom life. You will learn to identify early signs, distinguish profiles and their needs, and implement simple and effective adaptations. Through inclusive pedagogical strategies, concrete tools, and practical situations, you will be better equipped to support the student in class and at home, while maintaining a calm, rewarding, and motivating environment.

Training Objectives

  • Understand DYS disorders: definitions, typology, warning signs, and possible comorbidities.

  • Identify the impacts on reading/writing, language, mathematical reasoning, fine motor skills, and organization.

  • Implement effective adaptations for each disorder (extended time, adapted materials, dictation to an adult, alternatives to handwriting, manipulations, etc.).

  • Deploy inclusive learning methods: multisensory approach, broken tasks, step-by-step guidance, peer tutoring.

  • Manage emotions and motivation: specific feedback, achievable goals, right to make mistakes, recognition of progress.

  • Cooperate school–family–professionals (teacher, AESH, speech therapist, occupational therapist, psychologist, doctor) around a shared action plan.

  • Use digital assistance tools (audio reading, spell checkers, mind maps, digital organization) and playful materials.

  • Leave with practical sheets, checklists, and templates that can be directly applied in class and at home.

You will leave with concrete, ready-to-use tools (student sheets, observation grids, adaptation checklists, school–family tracking templates) to help each DYS student progress, gain autonomy, and restore daily confidence.
