🎯 What is this thermometer for?
When we speak too fast, words pile up and stammering can appear. This thermometer helps children become aware of their speech rate and find the right rhythm: not too fast, not too slow. Click on each zone to mark it as worked on.
Words tumble over each other, there is no time to breathe, it is hard to understand.
It is a bit rushed — starting to lose control.
This is a good speed for everyday conversation.
This is an ideal speed for practising and staying in control.

🎵 The metronome
Say one word per beat. Start slowly then gradually speed up until you find your comfortable rate.
✋ Finger counting
Raise one finger for each word spoken. This forces you to slow down and separate words clearly.
🎈 Breathing
Breathe in before speaking and pause to breathe. Good breathing equals good speed.
🧸 The mirror
Speak in front of a mirror watching your speed. Watch your lips move calmly.
