About Course
This 5-hour training is aimed at professionals supporting elderly individuals in all types of establishments and services (medicalized residence, home care, home assistance services, day care). It allows participants to distinguish depression from mood disorders related to aging, identify risk factors and warning signs, and adopt an appropriate support posture. The training also addresses the specifics of depression in the presence of cognitive disorders, suicide prevention in the elderly, and working in a multidisciplinary team. At the end of the training, each participant will be able to identify a depressive situation, adapt their support, and mobilize the right resources.
