About Course
This 2-hour training is aimed at the families and close ones of a person who has had a stroke and presents language disorders (aphasia, dysarthria). Aphasia is one of the most destabilizing aftereffects for those around the person: the individual can no longer find their words, no longer speaks, or says incoherent things. It is not a memory issue, nor a comprehension problem — it is a specific language disorder that requires adapting the way of communicating. This training provides families with concrete tools to continue exchanging, understanding each other, and maintaining the emotional bond despite the disorders.
