Course overview

This training course gives you clear guidelines for understanding the needs of the elderly and the central role of games (paper and digital) in cognitive stimulation, social bonding, and individual self-esteem.

You’ll learn how to introduce the tablet in a reassuring way, adapt activities to different profiles (autonomous, frail, cognitively impaired), and establish simple, soothing rituals. Through practical advice and directly usable tools, you’ll learn how to organize sessions, remove obstacles, encourage participation without infantilizing, and integrate digital solutions like SCARLETT and CLINT to support memory, attention, and language, both in nursing homes and at home.

Training objectives

  • Understand the cognitive, social, affective, and motor needs of the elderly.
  • Identify the positive impact of play on daily life and social interaction.
  • Establish simple, reassuring usage routines and rituals.
  • Present the tablet in a friendly way and adapt the interface to your needs.
  • Value successes and encourage without infantilizing.
  • Use play and gentle activity to channel energy and support learning.
  • Develop strategies to improve attention and participation (short instructions, calm environment, varied supports).
  • Promote autonomy through progressive stages and reassuring reference points.
  • Discover how Scarlett and CLINT (DYNSEO) help seniors to progress in a fun and stimulating way.

Learning outcomes

At the end of this training course, you’ll be able to offer varied, stimulating, and adapted sessions that promote the well-being, participation, and autonomy of your beneficiaries.

Approach and support

The emphasis is on setting up a structured but caring framework, using appropriate teaching strategies and supporting those around you (team, caregivers, family). You’ll leave with practical solutions that are easy to apply on a day-to-day basis to stimulate without tiring, boost confidence, and encourage the development of the elderly, both in nursing homes and at home.
