This training course will help you to understand Parkinson’s disease beyond preconceived ideas, to recognize its symptoms (motor and non-motor) and to measure their impact on daily life. You’ll learn how to take simple steps, make practical adjustments and adapt your organization to energy fluctuations, to maintain independence, safety and serenity at home.
– Differentiate between normal aging and pathology; identify risk factors and prevention levers.
– Identify motor symptoms (tremors, slowness, stiffness, balance) and non-motor symptoms (fatigue, sleep, anxiety, pain); determine stage of progression.
– Deconstruct preconceived ideas: Parkinson’s ≠ only tremors; it doesn’t only affect the elderly; physical activity and stimulation are beneficial.
– Adapting gestures and activities: simplified dressing, safe cooking, adapted meals; ergonomic tools and technical aids.
– Manage fatigue and fluctuations: split tasks, plan rest periods, delegate and prioritize the essentials.
– Promote movement: gentle, regular activities (walking, dancing, gardening) for flexibility, balance and motivation.
– Cognitive and social stimulation: games, reading, music, exchanges to maintain momentum and bonding.
– Communicate positively: simple messages, patience, encouragement rather than correction; use gestures and emotions.
– Supporting the caregiver: recognizing emotions, preventing exhaustion, surrounding yourself and preserving time for yourself.
– Support tools with DYNSEO: CLINT (30+ games for memory, attention, logic) and The Rolling Ball (playful movement exercises); monitor progress and make adjustments.
A 100% practical course to help you take action now: simple guidelines, effective routines and concrete tools to help you become more independent, reduce the daily burden and strengthen the family bond. You’ll leave with a clear strategy and solutions you can apply right away at home.
