About Course

This training of 6 to 7 hours is aimed at professionals working in institutions or at home (care assistants, life assistants, nurses, activity leaders, companions in EHPAD, SSIAD, HAD, MAS or specialized units). Sleep is a fundamental pillar of cognitive, emotional, and physical health — and its disorders are extremely common among the people supported: elderly individuals, people with neurological conditions (Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, stroke, multiple sclerosis), individuals with disabilities or chronic illnesses. However, sleep disorders are often trivialized, poorly identified, or poorly managed in institutions. This training provides professionals with a solid understanding of the mechanisms of sleep and its disorders, and concrete strategies to improve the quality of sleep for the individuals supported while preserving the quality of life for night teams. At the end of the training, each participant will be able to observe, analyze, and adapt their practices with relevance and team coherence.
