About Course

This 4-hour training is aimed at professionals supporting elderly individuals in all types of facilities (medicalized residence, home, SSIAD, day care). It allows participants to gain a comprehensive understanding of the risk factors for falls in the elderly, to implement concrete preventive actions in daily routines, and to reorganize the physical environment to reduce risky situations. The training also addresses the appropriate actions to take after a fall, managing the fear of falling, and working in a multidisciplinary team. At the end of the training, each participant will be able to identify the residents or patients most at risk and to implement appropriate and traceable responses.
